DALE

I started with our first cut and colour graded it; there was no particular fashion I edited in but I did however have to cut oddly due to continuity issues in the scenes with the Panda (this was because we had run out of film and began to cut things short). It still turned out how we imagined it, which was good. I then colour graded by lowering the exposure as the film had been developed too brightly, and brought out the red in the lighting with the colour wheel and desaturated everything slightly to communicate the contemporary tones.

The sound designer then went on to create a timeline of the soundtrack on Logic Pro; they went on to use the time-coded copy of the film to score it. Some of the sound effects were recorded foley, and some were sourced online.

I created the radio sound effect via iMovie for the opening of the film with real radio adverts (including one from a dating app to foreshadow the narrative) and 'That's Life' by Frank Sinatra as I felt the song reflected the concept of the film well.
